High quality lacquer-based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands on the market.
Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds all kinds of weathering products firmly.
May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer-based paints.
Used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the German Army from July 1937 until July 1940 as a complementary camouflage color to RAL 7021 Dark Grey (according to the official regulations; however, it appears that many military vehicles were painted in Dark Grey only already during the Polish Campaign). According to the army regulations, RAL 7017 should cover 1/3 of the vehicle’s surface in the form of irregular patches with soft edges.
